The 51st Annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival is the Weekend of May 3rd.

We will be back in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island for one of our favorite festivals.  This will be our third time here.   The Fine Arts & Crafts Show is free to the public, and is open on Saturday, May 3rd from 9 am to 6 pm (although we could stay past sunset), and on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.  Other activities start with the Shrimp Festival Pirate Parade at 6 pm on Thursday evening (May 1st).  For complete schedules and other information, go to the festival web site (www.shrimpfestival.com).  For a list of artists, go to the web site of the festival organizers, Island Art Association, and on the menu at the top of the page go to Shrimp Festival > Exhibit Locator.  The festival will be held in the Historic business district (along Centre Street and about a block on all side streets as far east as 8th Street).  We will be in Booth 2 on North 3rd Street.  They expect well over 100,000 visitors to about 320 booths.  Maybe we'll see you there.
